A Week Old Tragedy

Exactly 1 week ago, there were several tragedy occurred in my life.

The day started of normally. Just like any other day of the week. I went for classes and bla, bla, bla, the day goes on....

The nite was a lil unusual.. After dinner (for me) with Syamir and Wei Yin @ Bangsar, Syamir and I went to Mid Valley for the premier of Be Kind Rewind. The hilarious part of this is when we got our seats at the very 1st FRONT row in the cinema. This got to be kidding....I laugh like shit! Then later we changed our seats when we realize that there were lots more seats at the back.

The movie ended and I fetch Syamir back home before I hit the road back to Subang. It was about 11pm ++. Its drizzling back then all over KL. I took the usual roads where I have to pass the national library and all, then eventually have to pass through Bangsar before I reach the Federal Highway. At Jln Bangsar's Traffic light right after/before Hilton, there is where it Strikes! About 100m away coming down the slope, I saw the Green, I kept on the constant speed... When it was about 50m away, its still green. I added pressure to the gas paddle and the car accelerates. About 30m it SUDDENLY CHANGED to Red!!! Its still too far for me to make it for the few seconds delay. So on the 25th m, I hit the brakes and my car skidded all the way. If I was not mistaken about 3m away from the light there was a lamp post and the car was headed straight for it. This time I thought its gone!! THANK GOD for his salvation that only my tires hit the low divider with quite an impact causing my alignment to go way off balancing (about 20-30 degrees to the left). My car stop totally about 1m away after the light.

Coming back home with a fright that hasn't wore off, my pup Snookie injured himself. He bitted a few shavers. That did not injure his mouth but to find blood spots on the floor. There he scared me and made me worried. Soon, I notice that his back leg was red, so there was the injury. Once again, THANK GOD that it was just a minor cut. Judging by the looks on the wound, it seems like the bleeding has stopped and the wound has sealed too.

Later on, I went to the bathroom for clean-ups. I heard Snookie chewing something hard..I opened the door and saw him looking back at me as nothing happened. Then I continued with my thing and heard the same noise again. This time I managed to caught him red handed. He was chewing / attempt to chew hard fragile plastic. I went to him, tired to take out the plastic but found out a tooth had came off. So Snookie lost a tooth. His gum bleed a lil.

Back to back tragedies... Ain't that SAD..............

Che'nelle's Visit to HELP

Some time last week, Che'nelle came to visit our little campus called BA (to be precise, its HELP's Business department, KPD A) She came as a special guest judge for this Nike's all girl's event. They were having several performance in conjunction with the event which was held yesterday.

Lots of peeps were there waiting for her arrival. I manage to take this pic or her.

Then the performance went on.. Here is our guest judge evaluating the performers.

She said she liked all the performance. There were several groups of "chicks" from different colleges doing the yoga, hip hop dance, kick boxing etc. as their show for the event. I met a friend there who was one of the performer. Kinda surprise...

Well, during the MATTA fair, I was able to meet a Koala too. Manage to grab it beside me and take a candid photo!

To me, it was my 1st exposure towards such occasion plus, I had a rough night the day before due to rushing for completion of assignments. Selling is one of my profession which I can admit I was quite good at. Selling tours for the 1st time with very short and limited time provided made it even more challenging. You need to act as if that the product is worth every single cent of the customer's even you yourself think that it is such a waste. Due to the lack of sleep and rest (slept for 2 hours), the mode was cathartic. I was unable to even give a proper smile to the customer.

On the second day, everything went back to normal. There were seniors there to help sell the tours too. I felt great! Able to verse like those seniors after observed for their performance. Its kinda tiring at 1st because we have to stand most of the time.

The final day was the bomb. Standing for 12hours is no problem...BUT, we decided to seat around and chat with the seniors. Before lunch, I managed to hit my target and the rest was to help my friends. My last deal was dealt by our boss, she was chivalrous on the job. Sitting beside her and looking at her convincing a window shop-customer and at last, the customer bought the tour made me go hazy. She was the BOMB!

Looking at these 2 creatures origin from Aussie, we can't endure much more longer but to take a group photo with them.

An Unexpected Encounter

It was around 7.30pm. We just had dinner at Nirvana, Bangsar. The shortest ever banana leaf meal due to the fear of fats. So it was about time to go home. When I hopped in my car, Syamir was not in the scene as he took off right after he dropped us. I started the car and the radio switches on as well. It was the time for the Hitz.fm Ford/Road Ranger to make their announcement. They said,

"We are at the Shell station at Damansara Heights opposite Wisma Manulife."

...Wait a second, its just over at Wisma HELP! Omg!!

Without second thoughts, I sped off towards the petrol station. On my way,

Ring,Ring.... Caller ID shows Syamir! I answered, he said "Hello Terry, where are you?" I replied, "I'm heading towards the Shell station opposite Manulife." "you heard the ad rite?"(in excitement) "YaYa! Where are u??" "I'm also nearby the area" "Ok, see u there. I'm parking now."

So we got off the car, saw Fairuz and Chunky Monkey at the HITZ pick-up. We saw 3 other strangers waiting there too. While waiting for Syamir, we introduced ourselves to them. There, Syamir parked his car at the Shell station itself. The game begins, it started off with several Q & A games. The big prize was 2 tickes for an upcoming comedy movie, 2 tics for Colbie's by invitation concert at Laundry bar and Janet Jackson's new album.

My 1st Visit to Zouk (KL)

Yea.. I agree that the title sounds lame as there were much more people younger than me have already been into Zouk club before. Indeed it was my very 1st vist to the club. For those who don't know, this particular club required guest/customer to be above 21 yrs to enter unless its holding a special function.

Yet indeed tonight it was held a special function for Loreal. I'm can't really remember what was the title of the contest but for one thing I'm sure of was Allan was one of the contestant. He invited our gang, as in his and my friends from Uni. Turned out that only few turned up. As usual for me, never want to let my friends down, I managed to persuade a few to attend. Zouk was indeed different from the clubs that I've been to. Having such as event was spectacular as we get to see both hot and cool girls and guys respectively (I mean the contestants). Besides showing their beauty & machoness, they performed whats best that they can do. Allan's one was special. He played a violin and move to the keyboard + DJ performance.

As the competition comes to the end, it was the most exciting moment cause here is where the winners will be announced. My intention there was not the excitement of entering Zouk but just to spectate my buddy, Allan. 2 sub winners, 1 for best performer for the night and the other for online voters or something which I've been oblivious about. And when it comes to the best part, announcing the winner of King and Queen for the show,(honestly i didn't expected this) it was ALLAN!!!! I was standing almost backstage blasted out in surprise as I cried the name ALLAN!!!! WOOOHH!!!! out so damn loud! Some how then when I took a closer look on the others (guys), yea...my pal looks alot better than them.

Well, I guess ALLAN got to know lots of new friends who are good looking from this contest. Now Allan have a contract with Loreal. All the best to him!
