When e2 meets the ice elf
From the very 1st chat on msn to the 1st video call last year to the recent frequent phone calls, the time has come for e2 to finally meet the ice elf.
The long awaited meeting has finally took place in the month of june and july.
Few days before her arrival, I've came out with written itinerary in order to get organized and make it a pleasant visit for her. After a few edits and some discussions with the legendary monkey, I assumed its a great one!
Here is how the tale of the ice elf's visit is told by e2.
The day was a sunny day, bright sunshine on the Klang Valley with patches of clouds. It was a monday but without the blues for e2.... As the usual routine takes place where I have to go for classes with Belle to do presentation. The unusual act is when we left right after our break. Going to KLIA is quite far from Kota Damansara, and besides that, with the current influenza outbreak situation, we decided to buy a face mask due to the influx of people coming into the country at the Airport. I got a rose for her at The Curve feeling great to see her expression when I give it to her when we meet. So, the journey begins when we move out towards KLIA. Belle was being excited and feels all curious throughout the entire journey. She fells just like going to see a celebrity. We arrived at the arrivals gate after 40 mins drive. I went down to look for ice elf, scouting every possible place where she could have been waiting. She wore a Superman sign T-shirt stood up looking for me after she saw my text. Its a technique to find someone you are seeing face to face for the 1st time. I felt she is so different from the pictures, she looks smaller compared to the pics. She did not manage to recognize me due to the face mask and spectacles I'm wearing. I guess she might me thinking what is wrong with this Terry? looking so weird. I guess I had left an impression back there. With a cheerful heart, I helped her towards my car and there is where she met the huge tall Isabelle waiting in the car. Here, the talks was never ending from KLIA to Jln Ipoh (Belle's hse) to Cheras Bkt Segar. My total time in the car is 4 hours where it equals to through and flow from KL - Ipoh - KL. She checked-in to Josh's room. We spent the rest of the night with Josh's parents with their very warmth hospitality. I went back home after dinner around 12am and called the day off.
My class ended as usual but manage to leave early. Straight from KD to Cheras, 30mins drive I'm at Josh's house. We met up with Adrian the TB kia and went for dinner with Josh's parents again. Around 10.30pm, a gathering is called. Brothers from Cheras come together at on the hill.
Its not Look Out Point this time, its Gasoline. Enjoying the view of KL city, feeling the cool breeze on top of the hill while engaging in talks of issues. Choosing a coll drink in such condition is really not a good idea. They day ended and reached josh's home at 2.30 am. This excludes the chatting till 6 am plus.
Wednesday is always a day off for me, here I can give all of my time to Windy. We woke up quite early despite chatting till the wee hours. We were supposed to head down Klang for a trip to a very successful entrepreneur's factory. But then, we weren't able to visit the factory due to something cropped up in the middle although we were already in Klang. On the way, Windy took rest cause it was a long journey from Chreas to Klang while I had very informative talks with Josh's dad. We had a not really nice "bak kut teh" in Klang where they are famous for it. At least Windy got to try it from Malaysia. Adrain was with us up until he has to meet his friends in SS2 while we were on our way back to get my car to MV. Around 5pm in the evening, we reached MV and met up with Bronson and Jess. Wanting to catch a movie but MV's cinema was filled with Homo sapiens. I suggested why not The Garden's GSC signature cinema just the four of us. I'm sure Windy would like to experience how was it like to watch a movie in the GSC premier cinemas. Here are a few stuff we did while waiting for the movie,
- There was an event going on at the ground floor, 4 Lotus elise cars was displayed. With both our knowledge of photography, we were giving lots of comments on the models and photographers who were on duty there. And so, we decided to take a few shots with my old Nikon compact camera.
- Talking and sharing our knowledge about photography, I realize that I finally met my match, someone who is better than me. Honestly, Windy is a better photographer compared to me. She knows more, she did more and even had a flickr account! Despite all of that, she don't even have a SLR camera yet she knew so much. Just look at the angle she came up with compared to mine
And then, Bronson comes in...
"Next time Josh, when we go for photography, remember to include Windy"
While I was trying to capture something, BOOM!
She flew into the picture! See, her hands are still flapping!!
I think there is another flower in her mouth~~
Promoting the sale or selling herself as a sale item
???
After walking around the for about 2 hours, time to come watch Ice Age 3! Very hilarious movie, just like the past 2 of them. Here is us on our seat,
Hey!! Some paparazzi caught us together!
Hope Josh doesn't know :S
After laughing our A** off, relating the movie with someone... Then we had dinner with Josh's parents at the Peel road. Steamboat pumpkin porridge dinner.
Windy wanted to have a drink at the city, wanting to experience the city life of KL. There, I took her to our very best bar in the sky, SKYBAR @ Traders Hotel. Having a beautiful view of KLCC and the night view of KL city while enjoying a fine glass of wine with easy going beats from the Dj is what she is looking for especially when emo. With Terry around, there is no room to feel emotional. My stupid mocktail made me high, causing me to talk things which doesn't make sense. But luckily, it occurred after the whole outing. Before that tragic incident, we had pictures taken!
The ice elf is not only a photographer, she is also a model
Indeed, the view were excellent! Well done e2. Since the next day I'll be having classes, I need to go back to Rawang, we stayed the the car and chat till 4 am. This is where the mockery of my reputation took place. Not to say I'm drunk, it just feels so freaking high! Besides being the state of such condition, I was severely suffering from fatigue due to the lack of sleep from the previous night. It was a long and fearful journey back home, there was a part where i accidentally entered the DUKE highway from MRR2 where I supposed to exit it at the Selayang intersection. I was Shock to find out that I was driving halfway at the DUKE. Thank God and Windy that I reached home save and sound.
Here is the fourth day of Windy's visit, I skipped class but manage to go for my group meeting for the presentation I mentioned in the previous post. Right after the meeting, it is time for Windy's historical Joshua tour to Subang Jaya SS15. Personally I think it didn't work out well as the ice elf is enduring herself from sleeping. Not to mention about the failure of plans, I diverted it to something else. I took her to Sunway Pyramid, met up with John Tan too. The ice elf really loves the ice, she can actually skate so well! Although I did not have the change to skate with her, by the contacts she had and how she describe her ice skating skils... I'm starting to realize that this is an all rounder talented girl, she knows so many things. A little diversion where Windy goes play pool with John Tan while me and Bron waited for Jon to arrive at the Pyramid. We met up once again at the Foh Foh restaurant in front of Taylor's ADP. Had dinner there and next we headed to John Tan's house to prepare for Clubbing later.
What a poser~~
There we go, all suited up!
Take 2!
Daniel came by and there we go, originally heading to MOS, we were already on our way, but suddenly Daniel received a call then reroute to Zouk... I felt so bad for Windy cause she told me in advance that she can't tolerate smoke! MOS is a smoking free club while Zouk isn't. Anyway, there wasn't a choice, 4 of us headed to KL then. Once there, we waited awhile and saw Yvonne making an entrance later. Here is where the ice elf meets Yvonne. There was a serious height difference. To cut the tale short, I'm sharing it with pictures to describe...
Alvin Leong was there too, heading Melbourne the nxt day
Windy drank the whole bottle???
It seems like Windy is enjoying this GRO's service, but not for me! :S
John likes to brag about his HUGE dick, but did he tell anyone about it glows in green???
After club, I took her to the Old Town White Coffee opposite Tesco Taman Midah for some light supper snacks aka "yum cha". Once again, the day ended at the wee hours.
The last day of activities. In the original itinerary, it was written either a tour to Malacca or the Genting Highlands. She told me she would rather spend more time at the city and with the monkey's friends rather going elsewhere. In the morning, we called John Tan to join us for brunch. He mysteriously appeared in Joshua's room by opening his room door without anyone noticing. This shows that Josh's house security is very vulnerable to his brothers. Even his dog doesn't make a single sound at all. The chance has finally come to let Windy try her love's favorite dish, "pan mee" at Taman Connaught. She doesn't like it anyway. I was thinking, poor Josh, she don't like what you liked best. Adrian joined us for that session and soon with Ban 7 to Sg. Wang, the La La's Lair. Nothing much happened there, just some short stories about Josh told. John Tan's house was our next destination for light dinner before heading to Sunway College to attend Marcus and LT's ADTP carnival fair. I shockingly saw Windy savoring her plate of curry mixed rice. She ate so fast until she wants to add rice. There, I seriously felt that I got all the wrong intel about her eating preferences and style from Josh. She can't east spicy but loves curry, She eats slowly but she can eat at a high speed as if she hadn't been eating for days when it comes to curry. Or perhaps it only happens when there is curry. In Sunway UC later, we met up wit Marcus, where it is the first time Windy and Marcus met. My job of introducing Josh's best buddies has finally completed. We hanged out, watch Transformers 1 at the field while waiting for Jon to come. Yvonne said she wanted to come too but then she wasn't able to do so due to certain circumstances. Here, Jon met the ice elf too for the very 1st time after knowing her for a longer time compared to me. Wanting to have some action playing with those air filled obstacle course for teenagers or young adults, the few of us ran towards them. Resulting to a very hilarious scene,
Jon getting Stuck AGAIN!
Seriously, that thing was half the size when Jon is in there. Look closely, the guy is trying his best to pull him out from that huge supposed to be tall wall. He shouted "push" several times just like when an infant was born. After making a scene, he managed to come out of it with full of sweat. I guess it was his second experience of being born into this world.
Team 5
After all the drama, we headed to Steven's Corner to have dinner with Marcus. Once again, i discovered that how Windy loves curry, she ignores the spiciness and gulp them down her throat just like that. This night never ended, we got home around 1.30 am. The talk took place from that time until 5.30 am, a total of 4 hours. Seriously, I realized many matters after the discussion.
She checked-out from Josh's place saying farewell to Josh's parents. That was the last ride with her to KLIA. Likewise, we talked throughout the entire journey. The same happens when we reached there. Her flight was 9.10 am but delayed for and hour after she was in the waiting room. Saying goodbyes are what I hate most towards those who are close to me. The last chapter has arrived where we had to say goodbye. I'm honored to be the last person for her to say farewell to. Hence, watching her leave the country really made me felt a little emotional. This is how the meeting of e2 and the ice elf been told.
A short season though,
Till the next episode...
