A boy's dream off seeing Avril live has come to an END!
All these while, there is only a world of fantasy for him to imagine himself attending Avril's live performance. Watching her Music Videos are the only method to reach his desire. Gaining info that Avril has numerous tours in the US, UK, CAN or rather known as Western countries has made him crave for a chance to see her perform. Knowing that there she had tour to Japan and some Asian countries made it even worse!
So he made a promise. It was towards himself... Attending concert is not his cup of tea due to the crowd, local warm weather, and the expensive tickets. But those will not matter if Avril is having her concert in M'sia. About a month ago, he received the news that Avril is performing in M'sia this 29th Aug. It was like a dream come true. A day later he got his ticket!
After 6 years of waiting, his dream has come to reality...
Once again I proudly announce......................
According to Avril, her 1st stop for her Asian tour is M'sia! So Malaysian, we should be proud of ourselves!
Before I start telling you my experience of the Best Damn Malaysian tour, let see what the GIRL have to say from her web page.
The Venue was Stadium Merdeka (KL). It wasn't a humongous stadium but a fairly large enough to hold a concert one.
From the outside, (main entrance)
Hotlink the official sponsor was doing their Business as usual. Selling ringtones, top-up cards, sim packs etc.
Avril merchandises both original and pirated (malaysia wad)
Food and Beverage stalls.
Typical concert flashies...
Me, accompanied by Fili were spectators for the Best Damn Concert. Our entrance were at the other side of the stadium. As we headed towards the entrance, those stall repeated for every sub entrance. To me, hah! they're all just typical...
The Inside
What will be about to see are from the very views of myself. They are what I see....
The show was supposed to start at 8pm but the organizers announced a delay to 8.45pm. Its about 9.15pm now and this is what got. A guy dancing and singing a song by Maroon 5. Okay, maybe he is to pleased the long awaited crowd.
It started drizzle since 7.15pm. Thank GOD on 9.25pm it stopped!

The time is 9.30pm, Avril is in the stadium!

She came back on stage with - Everything back but you
One of the best part of the show is - Avril on drums

After saying goodbye to her fans, us... she left towards backstage and it was the end of the one and only Best Damn spectacular night!
As I was too busy describing her concert details, I left out several feelings I wanted to let you all feel me.
Most of the time I was using my binoculars. I offered to Fili but after using several times, she didn't like it. Means that I got to see Avril via binoculars. Yay!!!
There were a few moments I was so happy till shallow tears filled by eyes. I believe it was the tears of joy. I couldn't believe that I was present, looking at Avril live in person! She is the Best Damn chick! She rocked the atmosphere! It really was a dream come true...
Right after the show, I started to miss the show... Without fail, I bought her Best Damn Tour DVD
I brought the whole concert home
So Avril did her Best here, I wish she stays well and do her Best for her whole Asian tour!
